How to Prepare for a doggy day (doggy neighbor)

Today’s finally the day you have your FIRST DoggyDay! We bet you’re super pumped and excited to meet your potential new best fur friend. To make sure things are extra EXTRA perfect for your fur-friend, and you here is a quick checklist we’ve put together for you to be extra EXTRA prepared no matter the situation.
Doggy is staying at your house:
  • Know where the doggy’s water bowl and bedding will go for their easy access
  • Get leash/harness from owner
  • Get treats from the owner, or know what treats are approved by the owner
  • Get toys
  • Doggy-proof your place to save yourself from crying tears and tears in your wallet–
    • Remove/protect rugs in case there are accidents
    • Secure shelving
    • Wrap cords or remove them from reachable spots on the floor
    • Keep trash cans covered or stored away
    • Place cleaners, medication, chemicals, and laundry supplies in an inaccessible spot for the dog
  • Clear an area for a playpen, especially if your fur friend is a puppy that isn’t 100% potty trained yet.
Doggy is going on a walk with you:
  • Leash/harness
  • Dog tag with contact details
  • Water bottle with cup especially for long walks
  • Treats
Now you’re prepared, go out there and have a blast!
