How to Prepare for a doggy day (doggy owner)

Today’s the day your doggy will be hanging out with their doggy neighbor. You can finally wrap up that errand you’ve been putting off, maybe go have a spa/relaxation day, or maybe even have some alone time. So many options and so little time, all while your doggy is having fun with its doggy neighbor! To make sure things go smoothly, and to dampen any worries you may have about being away from your doggy, we’ve put together a quick checklist so your doggy, your doggy neighbor, and you can all be set for success no matter the situation.
Doggy is staying at a doggy neighbor’s house:
  • Dog bed (if applicable)
  • Collar
  • Leash/harness
  • Enough dog food for the stay
  • Toys
  • Water bowl
  • Medication (if applicable) with instructions on how and when the doggy should be taking it
  • Treats
  • Playpen, especially if doggy is a puppy that isn’t 100% potty trained yet
  • Wee wee pads (if applicable)
  • Any other items that you feel your doggy needs for optimal happiness
Doggy is going on a walk with their doggy neighbor:
  • Leash/harness
  • Water bottle with cup especially for long walks
  • Treats
Now its time– go have fun doing the things you need to do while your doggy is getting loved on by their doggy neighbor!
