Our biggest tip is to start easy and get to know each other organically through meet-ups.
Ask each other questions, even hard and uncomfortable questions, and make sure you are comfortable with how they interact with your dog. Also Check-in and ask if they are comfortable with your dog!
Some things your neighbor should know about your dog are:
- Allergies or illnesses or ailments that could be life-threatening.
- Emergency contact number
- Behavioral history and triggers
