Making sure your neighbor handles your dog appropriately

Make sure you set your neighbor up for success by communicating and staying in communication. As you are the person who knows your dog best, we recommend articulating the following with your doggy neighbor:

  • Feel free to dictate activities and duration for the first few doggy days until everyone is comfortable
  • Have a list of dealbreakers/ hard-no’s/ things to avoid vs things to encourage.
  • Your dog’s dietary restrictions
  • Eating schedule
  • Exercise needs
  • Walk/potty schedule
