What are the rules to use DoggyDay?

The golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. AKA don’t be a jerk. No threatening or inappropriate language. Let’s be good, decent human beings!

Other than that, here are some rules of engagement all of us at DoggyDay adhere to:

  • There should be no monetary exchange or expectation of payment between owners and neighbors
  • There is no obligation to give or take a dog, to or from anyone, at any given time, even if you have already met this neighbor. You have full discretion on what to do with your dog!
  • Doggy owners will ensure the dog has all necessities for the duration of a doggy day, e.g. poop bags, treats, toys
  • Communicate honestly about your intentions such as availabilities, activity level and background
  • Recommended: feel free to start with easy activities like walking around the block, before having the doggy friend over the whole weekend!
